Monica Bellucci Wore Dior Haute Couture To The 2023 César Film Awards
I think we can count on one hand the amount of times Monica Bellucci has worn a colour other than black in the last 2 or 3 years.
That’s why I needed to give her appearance on the red carpet for the 2023 César Film Awards on Friday (February 25) the attention it deserved.
Lord knows when we will see colour from her again, so we have to bask in the glory of this red Dior Spring 2020 Haute Couture pleated and draped chiffon gown while we can.
To be honest, I do love Monica’s all black moments because I’ve never had the feeling of Groundhog Day.
In black she serves up a perfect cocktail of Dolce beauty, Morticia Addams, with a splash of Bond girl.
But this gear change sees her stepping into something new with dramatic cape sleeves, and a free-flowing silhouette (rather than the curve-enhancing designs we’re used to) to present a different type of glamour.
This was easily my favourite on the night where black dresses ruled.
Cartier jewels completed her look.
