Janelle Monáe opted to go for the 2023 Critics’ Choice Awards.

This Vera Wang Spring 2023 cut-out, black halter gown came at the right time for me, as I wanted something different from the ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ actress, who received the SeeHer Award at this event.

Granted this might be too revealing for some, but this was a hot take on a well-worn trend for me.
