Anya Taylor-Joy Wore Alexander McQueen To ‘The Menu’ London Premiere

Anya Taylor-Joy was back on the red carpet for ‘The Menu’ UK premiere which was at the BFI Southbank on Wednesday (November 9) in London.

The actress wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2023 corset dress styled with the leather gloves we saw on the runway.

Yes, I am salivating over this shade of blue.  Not only that, but the sleekness of the overall construction and fluidity of the asymmetric hem.

Did she need the leather gloves?

Absolutely. This is the one occasion where the accessory was vital to the overall look.

And the Christian Louboutin Pigalle Follies pumps?

They actually makes me want to cry.

I can love a look from the ankles up, I have done so for many years, but I will always look back at this one and wish she had done more.

I’m not asking for an elaborate statement to shoe, but these black patent pumps did take the wind out of my sails.

Going full matchy with the footwear would’ve been preferred.  I’m sure Mr Louboutin has shoes in this shade.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre brand ambassador wore the 101 Reine timepiece to complete her look.
