Saint Laurent @ WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards 2022

The WSJ. Magazine’s Innovator Awards, which recognizes groundbreaking talents from a range of disciplines, including fashion, art, and entertainment, was held at the Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday (November 2) in New York City, with Anthony Vaccarello dressing a number of celebrities.

Hoods have been trending since last week, and from judging this red carpet, it’s not about to die down anytime soon.

Kate Moss wore a Saint Laurent moss green hooded, cut-out dress from the Spring 2023 collection which is beautiful in design – I especially love the bodice – but the black underwear is dulling my enthusiasm for this look.

I don’t mind the sheerness at all, but to have such a stark contrast means that I’m completely distracted, and all I see are briefs.

It’s a shame, because the styling was one of my favourites from this group.

Hailey Bieber was always gonna do Hailey Bieber, and Hailey Bieber’s current look is a slim-fit Saint Laurent (currently long sleeved) dress.

As we all know, these things come in cycles, and we have no choice but to await the next phase/style chapter.

Considering this style is “the look” for Saint Laurent, I think Hailey has a few more of these dresses to come.

Honestly.  I don’t hate it.  There’s a quiet elegance and familiarity that I’m warming to.

A mix of Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® and Paloma’s Melody rings completed her look.

We don’t often see Charlotte Gainsbourg in a maxi style Saint Laurent dress, as her love for mini dresses or suits has always been her M.O.

I love the sleek elegance of the dress, but I’m not completely sold on the heavy eye makeup with this look.

Amber Valletta’s.  By far.  And I’m not usually a fan of anything with just one sleeve.

The model looks so sexy and powerful.  Plus I love that she didn’t opt for the usual styling.

I’m in awe.

If there’s an event with Saint Laurent girls on the red carpet, I’m sure Anja Rubik’s name is first on the invite list.

Her coffee coloured Saint Laurent Spring 2023 dress might be giving you a case of déjà vu.  That’s because it’s similar to the dress Hailey Bieber wore to the Elle Women In Hollywood event.

Saint Laurent 110 mule sandals with strass buckle completed her look.

I would’ve loved to have seen more of Dominic Fike’s Saint Laurent look.  So I wish he had opened his leather trench.

Saint Laurent Elbio 75 zipped boots completed his look.

Argentine model Mica Argañaraz served up a bright hue wearing a Saint Laurent Spring 2023 dress with the animal-fur free coat we’ve seen on Kate Hudson.

Shalom Harlow’s sultry sheer Saint Laurent dress didn’t need the animal-fur free coat apparently.
