Danai Gurira Wore Proenza Schouler To The EBONY Power 100

Danai Gurira joined Letitia Wright and Lupita Nyong’o to form a trio of ‘Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever’ stars on the red carpet for the EBONY Power 100 event held at Milk Studios Los Angeles on Saturday (October 29) in California. 

The actress went from pleating to fringing, wearing a Proenza Schouler Spring 2023 two-piece look.

There is no denying that the crochet details creates an eye-catching finish for this look which is enhanced by fringed detailing, which adds a further playful twist, but I still found myself a little underwhelmed by this on Danai.

Mostly because she is my go-to for something a little outside the box.

I also found the black pumps were disappointing option for this outfit.

But I did love how the cornrows were formed to a finger wave styled to enhance the 1920’s flapper vibe of this look.
