Tracee Ellis Ross Wore Robert Wun, Carolina Herrera & Versace Promoting ‘The Hair Tales’

There is nothing more exciting than a Tracee Ellis Ross promo tour.

We are guaranteed colour, plenty of exuberant looks, and a whole lot of pictures options, because Tracee loves a caraousl of Instagram images; much to my delight.

She started off her day on ‘Good Morning America’ wearing a Robert Wun Spring 2023 coral pink suit which you will no doubt recognise as the designer loves a pleated moment.

What I love about this aside from the colour, is that Tracee is the only person on the planet who could sell this look to me.

A big pleated collar, big sleeves, and big pants need a big personality, and that is Tracee to a T.

She wore this look better than MNEK whose trousers were too long when they wore this same look in blue to The Brits 2021.

Her second look was a Carolina Herrera rose-embellished shirt with ruched high-rise skinny pants and boots to match from the Spring 2023 collection, which she wore for her guest appearance on The Today Show.

Again, I was having a case of déjà vu, but that’s mostly because this floral look was giving me Richard Quinn vibes, but again, who else is going to sell this so effortlessly as Tracee?

As Keith Sweat would say, “nobody.”

Tracee’s final look was for Hearst’s Celebrate Black Style Summit.

What I loved most about this look were the red tights, red pumps combo, and how they were a striking way for Tracee to stamp her own style authority on this Versace Fall 2022 nude, corseted dress.

Despite the déjà vu, the Carolina Herrera looks is my favourite look of this trio.

But let’s face it. Tracee nailed them all.
