Penelope Cruz Wore Chanel Haute Couture To The 2022 San Sebastian Film Festival

Following the 2022 Venice Film Festival, Penelope Cruz was back on the red carpet for the 2022 San Sebastian Film Festival on Friday (September 16) and Saturday (September 17) in Spain, with two new looks from Chanel.

For the photocall for ‘En Los Margenes,’ Penelope wore a custom Chanel black lace gown ennobled with navy sequin motifs which was inspired by the Spring 2022 Haute Couture collection.

Usually, when there’s an option other than black, I will go for that look.

But I feel that Penelope made the right choice on this occasion, as bold colours aren’t what she usually gravitates towards.

Chanel accessories including Chanel Fine Jewelry completed her look.

The following day Penelope received the National Cinema Award.

This Chanel Resort 2023 pink and white trompe l’oeil tweed, braided dress has a classic Chanel feel to it.

When I think of Chanel, a look like this immediately springs to mind.

While I wish the hair was a little more relaxed and that she had opted for a more complementary pair of sandals, I actually prefer this over the photocall look.

This pink suit is giving classic Chanel elegance.  The black photocall dress was a little unflattering and tames her innate sex appeal.

It should’ve been a rare sultry moment, but it didn’t meet the mark.

Back to this pink look. I almost wish Chanel had kept this for Margot Robbie’s upcoming ‘Barbie’ promo tour.
