Sofia Carson Wore Elie Saab To The ‘Purple Hearts’ Screening

Sofia Carson attended the Netflix ‘Purple Hearts’ special screening held at The Bay Theater on Friday (July 22) in Pacific Palisades, California.

I love that Sofia is very much a gala gown girl.  Which means she’s a girl after my own heart.

Yes, I did want her to switch things up at one period, mostly because her Giambattista Valli looks were starting to roll into one, but I think a lot of us have made peace with the fact that she looks her very best in GBV.

Elie Saab has the same romantic notions when he creates his red carpet gowns, so I should love this Fall 2022 gown, right?

Wrong.

There is just too much going on here, and none of it is good. 

Actually, it is good from the waist down, but I don’t like the bodice. 

It feels a little bit dated, and overall I’m feeling the fall vibes and I would really love something summery from Sofia, like she gave us during the Taormina Film Fest 2022 weekend.
