Danai Gurira Wore Alexander McQueen To Free Shakespeare In The Park's 'Richard III' Opening Night

Free Shakespeare In The Park’s ‘Richard III’ opening night took place at the Delacorte Theater on Thursday (June 30) in New York City with Danai Gurira in attendance.

The fashion gods are really spoiling us this week, as we don’t often get two Alexander McQueen looks on the red carpet in so many days.

Selena Gomez gave us tailoring, while Danai gave us the other side of Alexander McQueen wearing this Fall 2022 asymmetrical dress featuring an alluring strapless cut which showcased the house’s penchant for dramatic silhouettes and ruffles.

There is a lot to contend with here, but Danai is not one to be intimated by such a detailed design. I personally feel that in moments like this she excels.

My first reaction to Danai in this yellow dress is that I thought the shade was more saturated, but we do have to consider the lights that illuminate the runway.
