Selena Gomez Wore Alexander McQueen To Celebrate The Launch Of Rare Beauty

Selena Gomez celebrated the launch of Rare Beauty’s Kind Words Matte Lipstick and Liner Collection at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel on Wednesday (June 29) in California.

As you know, I was quite critical of her last red carpet appearance, so I’m delighted that she looks like the young woman she is on this occasion.

Wearing an Alexander McQueen double breasted jacket from the Fall 2022 collection, this piece infuses one of the quintessentially feminine fabrics; lace.

Lace has always been a mainstay at Alexander McQueen.  From Lee McQueen to Sarah Burton.

The enduring appeal for me comes from the label’s exceptional ability to juxtapose romantic softness against a structured, tailored edge.

Selena completed her look with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals, and her own Rare Beauty Matte Lipstick.  It looks like she’s wearing the shade Bold – deep berry rose.
