2022 Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is the rundown of the rest of the ladies who caught my eye on the red carpet for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 15) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Call me crazy.

But I like it. I like all of it.

Inspired by the look book, Heidi Klum styled her Maticevski Nightshift strapless dress from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection with black gloves and black Casadei over-the-knee boots.

Some might feel that the styling dates the look, but it strangely works for me on Heidi.

Gorgeous as she is, her style is kinda revolves around the early 2000s, and I think the accessories tempers the brightness of the dress.

Despite the ‘80s vibes, yet another cut-out and the revealing thong, I kinda liked this Valdrin Sahiti Spring 2022 leather dress for Chloe Bailey…from the front.

I wouldn’t have liked this at the Oscars however.

These illusion style dresses should be an absolute breeze for Dove Cameron considering her complexion, but this is the second time following the Met Gala where this style of dress just didn’t work in her favour.

I love the idea of this Ashlyn Spring 2022 gown, but the illusion panel failed her, along with the fit. It looks too big. Or maybe that is how it is intended looking at the model, but she’s posing on the floor, so it’s hard to tell.

I’m usually a fan of Becky G’s style, but I found this Zuhair Murad Spring 2021 Couture dress with a feathered sleeve a little dated.

The colour is gorgeous on her though.

Hueb, Djula, 64 Facets and Kallati jewels plus Jimmy Choo ‘Max’ platforms completed her look.

Icon Award recipient, Mary J Blige wore an archival Julian Macdonald Spring 2019 beaded dress which was giving us plenty of drama.

We have shoulder pads, cut-outs, a very high slit and illusion panels which complement her skin-tone.

Daring, with that slit sailing close to the wind, but a success nonetheless.

If you’re getting a case of déjà vu, that might be because this dress is similar to the one Jennifer Lopez wore to the 2017 Latin Billboard Music Awards.

Florence Welch has always has a love affair with bohemian style dresses.

While I wouldn’t class this Gucci look featuring black lace accents as boho, the floaty silhouette sits firmly in her wheelhouse.

Liza Koshy wore an Area Resort 2022 look which features the designer’s embellished signatures.
