Giambattista Valli @ The 2022 Met Gala
Giambattista Valli dressed two iconic sports women for the 2022 Met Gala on Monday (May 2) in New York City.
Somali professional boxer Ramla Ali, who enters the ring in Christian Dior, is no stranger to luxury fashion, yet this was her Met Gala debut while debuting Cartier’s new luxury jewellery collection, Les Indomptables de Cartier.
She looked beautiful wearing a white ruffled and feathered Giambattista Valli Fall 2021 Haute Couture high-low tulle gown.
Jimmy Choo accessories – including the ‘Sacaria’ platforms and ‘Micro cloud’ clutch – completed her look.
While I’m not usually a fan of white tights, I think they worked perfectly with this look.
Two-time Olympic snowboard champion Chloe Kim, who also made her Met Gala debut, was a vision in white, wearing a Giambattista Valli Fall 2020 Haute Couture ball gown adorned with red feathers.
