Armani Beauty Celebrates Tessa Thompson

Tessa Thompson, who is currently filming ‘Creed III’ with Michael B. Jordan and will soon reprise her role as Valkyrie in this year’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder,’ was named the new face of Giorgio Armani Beauty back in January, and it was made red carpet official with an event held in her honour on Thursday (April 28) in Culver City, California.

Dressed in Armani Privé Fall 2021, this three-piece look has an under the sea feeling about it which is giving off mermaid vibes.

The iridescent aqua skirt serves as her fishtail, while the embellished cape looks like a fish net which has already captured sparkling starfish.

You’ll either find this look too busy with the cape, or appreciate how Tessa was able to pull of this complicated look

Celebrity makeup artist Keita Moore created her beauty look.

FACE: Keita prepped Tessa’s skin using the Armani beauty Luminous Silk Hydrating Primer to create a hydrated base for makeup application. Then he applied Armani beauty Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 7.5 all over and used Armani beauty Luminous Silk Foundation in 8 to contour and create definition along the outer corners of her face, cheekbones and neck. Under the eyes, Keita applied Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Concealer in shade 7. For a touch of colour, he used the Armani Beauty Neo Nude A-Blush in 31 on her cheeks and topped it off with the Armani Beauty Neo Nude Melting Balm in Brick Red.

EYES: Keita used the Armani Beauty Neo Nude Melting Balm in Cool Plum as a base for the eyelid and crease. Then he applied the Armani Beauty Eyes To Kill Eye Tint in Senso on the lid to add some shimmer. To create a dramatic finish, Keita applied a few coats of the Armani Beauty Eyes To Kill Black Ecstasy Mascara.

LIPS: To complete the look with a bold lip, Keita used Armani Beauty Lip Power Lipstick in 404.
