Janelle Monáe Wore Dead Lotus Couture On Live With Kelly & Ryan

Janelle Monáe explores themes of technology, LGBTQ identity and time in the futuristic world of her debut novel, ‘The Memory Librarian,’ which she has been promoting in New York City.

And just to solidify the fact that latex is well and truly trending, the singer-actress-author wore a custom Dead Lotus Couture catsuit…on the ‘Live With Kelly & Ryan’ show no less.

Can you imagine all those parents having to explain to their children watching morning TV that aliens haven’t invaded the planet?

This is very much one of those “only Janelle can pull off” moments.

The effort to get into this one-piece must be admired alone, but I think she rocked the hell out of this regardless.  What a perfect way to promote her futuristic book.

An Aliel bag and Larroudé knee high leather boots completed her look which was styled by Alexandra Mandelkorn.
