‘Ambulance’ LA Premiere Menswear Roundup
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jake Gyllenhaal joined Eiza González on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of their new film ‘Ambulance’ on Monday (April 4).
When I saw Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in this Versace Fall 2022 look it told me a few things.
- He’s not afraid of colours. Especially mixing them.
- He still loves an longline overcoat moment. On this occasion he switched the heavier fabrics he favoured for this lighter satin.
- His stylist rolls with a steamer, because I’m not seeing a single crease (note to team Sienna Miller).
While I can praise the colour, I wasn’t a fan of the Versace logo tank top, a plain one would’ve been preferred, and of course I don’t like the black shoes with this look.
In fact, the less accessories with this look, the better in my opinion – including the belt.
Hmmm. Just when I was getting excited about Jake Gyllenhaal’s freshening up his style, he gives us this grey Armani look.
