Gemma Chan Wore Shushu/Tong To The Fashion Awards 2021

Despite The Fashion Awards 2021 taking place in London November 29, Gemma Chan only shared her look on her Instagram this Wednesday.

Considering this event wasn’t a great event in terms of red carpet dressing, we needed this look.

Gemma was a guest presenter on the night, and skipped the red carpet denying us an opportunity to see this gorgeous Shushu/Tong Fall 2021 bow accented dress.

Shushu/Tong is an independent Shanghai-based womenswear label founded by London College of Fashion MA graduates Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang.

I love that she uses her platform to spotlight up-and-coming designers, especially Asian designers.  Representation matters. And this is something that she has always supported.

When it comes to her look, I love how it’s been glamorised to fit the occasion with Swarovski jewellery, and Jimmy Choo sandals.

If I hadn’t seen the look book image, I would’ve assumed that the Swarovski jewels were part of the dress, and I would’ve been praising the illusion neckline.
