‘Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup
Here is a roundup from Disney’s premiere of âShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsâ held at El Capitan Theatre on Monday (August 16) in Los Angeles, California.
Meng’er Zhang immediately stood out to me as her Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2021 black velvet and violet halter-neck gown instantly reminded me of the Fall 2020 Haute Couture version that Jurnee Smollett wore to the 2021 NAACP Image Awards.
The bodice is completely different, but when it comes to the skirt they look identical, aside from the colour of course.
Jimmy Choo ‘Kaylee’ sandals completed her look.
Olivia Liang is the latest celebrity to fall in love with the Prabal Gurung Resort 2022 collection. It really is the collection of the summer.
This two-piece look is bursting with vibrancy thanks to the summery floral print.
Do I mind at all that her look doesnât feature the rosette detail?
No. It looks like it wouldâve been hard to replicate. And I prefer Oliviaâs presentation of this draped skirt.
As beautiful as Fala Chen is in this watermelon hued Armani Prive gown, I have this nagging feeling that something is missing.
I canât put my finger on it.
Did this look need a necklace, or did the bodice need to sit higher?
Otherwise, this is gorgeous.
Jodi Long, who last month became the first Asian American to win a Daytime Emmy for her Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Daytime Fiction Program for her role as Mrs. Basil E in the Netflix series ‘Dash and Lily,’ witnessed another historic event on this red carpet.
Before you write this off a simple white gown, take in the stunning micro details. This was my second favourite look of the night following Jhené Aiko.
When you see this silhouette, itâs something of a signature for Simone Rocha who combines relaxed silhouettes with plenty of charm.
Audrey Nuna added chunky sneakers to toughen up look.
I have to say I like the clothing more than the styling.
Xochitl Gomez came to have fun on this red carpet wearing a bright blue Alexis Calypsa blouson-sleeved satin cut-out dress.
I adore the colour, but the dress feels a little overcooked.
Bella Poarch was also in attendance going head-to-toe in latex.
After looking at her Instagram it appears that this is her usual style, yet I’m having a little bit of trouble taking it in.
Perhaps it’s the baby face, or perhaps it was her over-styling in the hair department.
