Tilda Swinton Wore The Vampire’s Wife To The ‘Vortex’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Despite the 2021 Cannes Film Festival being a much smaller event, there was still a lot going on, so thanks to Chris for bringing this Tilda Swinton look to my attention.

This “one we missed/behind-the-scenes” look is perhaps the most disappointing of all.

The Scottish actress wore a custom The Vampire’s Wife ‘The Sleepwalker’ gown to attend the premiere of Gaspar Noe’s ‘VORTEX.’

Even from the back I have goosebumps looking at this vibrant floral jacquard gown, so I’m really sad that this didn’t have a red carpet moment, or a photo from the front moment it truly deserved.

The only one I found was from her makeup artist Regine Bedot, who posted a picture from the neck up.

Putting my disappointment aside, I do kinda like this hooded gown in this setting as it’s giving me queen of the garden gnomes vibes.

Also, for some reason I am also picturing a red haired Tilda wearing this same gown in emerald green. Can you imagine> I would be ?.

I’m sure those of you who wanted a little bit more than the signature TVW dresses, will be happy to see something totally different from the brand.
