Brandy Wore Givenchy Promoting Disney’s Princess Anthem ‘Starting Now’

Brandy is back for Disney with the new song for a new generation.  

Disney has released her new song ‘Starting Now,’ which is the new Disney Princess anthem which has powerful lyrics such as, “There’s a girl I find in my reflection. She is smart and kind, don’t need protection. She’s a warrior, and she is waiting for you.”  

One of the highlights of Brandy’s career was her role as Cinderella in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s 1997 film.  

Her role was ground-breaking back then, as the diverse cast starred Whitney Houston, Paolo Montalban as Prince Christopher, Bernadette Peters, Victor Garber, and Whoopi Goldberg.  

The singer promoted the new song wearing an all red Givenchy Spring 2021 look.  

I love how this long-sleeve knit bodysuit is seemingly simplistic but turns around to reveal a striking open back cut-out and matching elbow pads that add a sultry feel.  

The trousers cut a sleek and sophisticated profile that didn’t need the additional styling of the chunky gold chain from the lookbook to sell this look.

You may remember that Rosamund Pike wore this same look while making a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ back in March.    

Much like Brandy, Rosamund opted not to wear the necklace either.  

Only Julianne Moore has worn it so far of the three outings.
