On The ‘House Of Gucci’ Set With Lady Gaga In Max Mara
Ridley Scott’s new film, ‘House of Gucci’, which tells the story of the Gucci family and the murder of Maurizio Gucci commissioned by his wife Patrizia Reggiani, will be played by Adam Driver and Lady Gaga respectively.
Al Pacino, Jared Leto, and Jeremy Irons also star in the film as members of the Gucci family
The movie, due out in November, is currently filming in Milan and the Italian Alps— Lady Gaga shared a behind-the-scenes look with co-star Driver on Instagram this week, with the caption: “Signore e Signora Gucci” which sent the internet into meltdown.
One of her looks on set sees a brunette Gaga in character wearing a polka dot dress from the Max Mara Studio Spring 2021 collection.
Championed as far back as the 1920s as a print that spoke of femininity, the polka dot is a pattern that has never gone far out of trend, which is why the costume department for this film can pull from a current Spring 2021 collection and this dress appear like its from the ’80s era with the right styling, which in this case included a vintage Gucci clutch.
I already feel like this will be an Oscar worthy film, with Gaga and Driver ruling awards season 2022.
