Anna Baryshnikov captioned her latest post, “didn’t have a Dickinson premiere but I dressed up like we did.”
She’s already my kinda girl.
I mean, who needs a red carpet and Getty photographers when you have an iPhone, the perfect lighting and a gorgeous dress courtesy of Miu Miu?
Some may feel that this Pre-Fall 2020 dress lands in the “hardly new” category on account of the silhouette borrowed from decades past, and the signature embellishments, but I’m pretty much drooling over just about every aspect of this piece, especially the colour.
Yellow is so underrated. And so wearable, even though it may not immediately seem so. Case in point, Michelle Williams in Vera Wang at the 2006 Academy Awards.
But it is often said that pale complexions should stick to a mustard hues.
This is far from mustard. It’s sunshine yellow, and Anna is totally pulling this off without appearing washed out to me.
