2020 Emmy Awards Pajamas Trend

2020 Emmy Awards PJ Trend

As much as I love glamour, I love comfort more.  So I don’t begrudge these celebrities who made pajamas their virtual red carpet look for the night for the 2020 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 210).  After all, they were at home, so why not?

Rachel Brosnahan:  ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ star looks thrilled to be wearing her custom Christy Rilling pjs with a custom poppy print by Laurie Simmons.  The look was given a touch of glam, thanks to her Roger Vivier shoes and Retrouvai jewels.  She captioned her Instagram post,  “Pajamas but make it fashion. Shout out and massive thanks to some badass New Yorkers for making our #EmmysAtHome dreams come true.”

I love how her husband Jason Ralph and their pups got in on the matchy action too.

Octavia Spencer:  Live from her couch, the actress was of course dressed in fancy floral PJs by Tadashi Shoji.  Sipping red wine in your PJs? I thought that exclusively my look. Sophie Ratner Fine Jewelry provide the finishing touches.

Julia Garner: The ‘Ozark’ actress wore what she described as the “…classiest silk pajamas a girl could ever dream of….”  So do I need to tell you they are from Chanel?  I guess the Chanel Fine Jewelry gave it away.   The powder pink satin sleeveless blouse and trousers from the Fall 2019 Haute Couture collection.  I’m glad opted out of the duster coat, even though it would’ve enhanced the luxury boudoir vibes.

Samira Wiley:  ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ actress rocked maybe the most beautiful pair of pjs from Olivia Von Halle styled with Chopard jewels. They are so cute they would be great for a zoom call as you could roll out of bed, into your zoom call, and roll back into bed without your colleagues being none the wiser.

Jameela Jamil: The British star watched the 2020 Emmys wearing a JJ Winks comfortable lounge look plus a rainbow hued sequined robe from Markarian.
