Timothée Chalamet Wore A Stella McCartney Tie-Dye Look On Instagram

Up until fairly recently, tie-dye was as dead as a doornail.

But now it’s EVERYWHERE, and has become quite the quarantine fashion trend.

Global fashion search platform Lyst reports that tie-dye is one of the fastest growing fashion search keywords of the year so far, along with sustainable fashion.

Tie-dye is back, and there are so many elements to it:

Boho, grunge, chic, avant-garde, grungy or edgy.

Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak, and Timothée Chalamet, who is always ahead of the trend posted this image on his Instagram 7 weeks ago, is giving me grungy, yet sophisticated in Stella McCartney.

Had he worn a tee-shirt this look would replicate many young men all over the world glued to their X-Boxes right now, but the Stella blouse adds an air of elegance which isn’t uncommon for a Timothée look, who is constantly redefined dressing for the modern age.

You may remember back in October when the actor wore tie-dye overalls to the 2019 Busan International Film Festival so it’s safe to say he is the originator of this trend.
