Tracee Ellis Ross Wore Max Mara From Her New Film, ‘The High Note’

While watching YouTube yesterday, a trailer appeared of a new film called, ‘The High Note’ starring Tracee Ellis Ross and Dakota Johnson.
My first thought was, that this is going to be an epic promo tour.Â
I’m giddy with expectation, and secondly that it appears to be uplifting, inspiring story which is set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene.
The story is of Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross), a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights, and Maggie (Dakota Johnson), Grace’s overworked personal assistant who’s stuck running errands, but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer.
While we await the promo tour, Tracee was teasing us with look from the movie, which hails from Max Mara’s Spring 2019 collection.
I kinda wish she’s gone full canary with the yellow shoes, but glad she didn’t opt for the trousers.
But the shoes don’t make the look, the Max Mara Burgos leather ruffle belt does.
This is such a good colour for Tracee, and with this being the first day I left my house with jacket rather than a puffy or wool coat, it gets me excited for the upcoming first day of Spring.
