Geena Davis In Romona Keveža – 2020 Oscars

We love pockets for their functionality, but they also can be simply fabulous when done right.

Geena Davis proved how chic pockets can be, even in a ball gown, on the red carpet for the 2020 Oscars on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

I love how her Romona Keveža gown flows from edgy to elegant.

On top, matte black sequins form two panels that dive into a plunging neckline and daringly disappear on the sides.

The skirt, however, is a true princess silhouette. The sheer fabric make the pockets visible, and Geena looked ever more elegant with her hands daintily tucked inside.

Chopard jewels added just the right touch of sparkle.

Both the ‘A League of Their Own’ actress and the designer hit a home run with this look from the Spring 2019 collection.

The Oscars honored Geena with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her work promoting gender equality in the film industry. Looking ageless and fabulous, Geena couldn’t have looked more fabulous receiving the award.
