Natalia Dyer In Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello – 2020 SAG Awards

Natalia Dyer In Saint Laurent - 2020 SAG Awards

Natalia Dyer was all-in for metallics at the 2020 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 19) in LA, as King Midas himself might as well have been her stylist.

The ‘Stranger Things’ darling has an affinity for vintage-inspired looks.

And, I like how this Saint Laurent combined a retro-mod mood with pure glam factor.

I do think the whole ensemble put together — styling and beauty look included — may have been a bit aging to the 20-something star.

I don’t think it’s even really the age, but she just lacks the presence to carry this off. In most of the photos, she looked rather uncomfortable or uncertain. You need confidence and sass for this gown.

Her hair is ruining a perfect edgy look. But I agree that maybe suits better in Alison Janney or Sienna Miller or Kerry Washington.

    Heavy and unflattering.

She looks a bit like a girl in her mother’s dress.

Not a popular opinion AGAIN but I love it on Natalia. She looks fabulous, elegant, vintage, the dress is perfection, the styling is great, I love everything about this look. She is killing it and easily one of the best dressed at this event for me!

She agrees with you, she even doesn’t like it on her.

I agree with the others, it is a strong look sans necklace but I’m just not buying this on Natalia.

She looks like she is wearing her mother’s dress.

This is so overwhelming on Natalia, it looks like the dress weights a ton and she is too fragile to carry it.

Sorry but it needs someone with some curves on ’em… Heck, Anne Hathaway would rock it again in it LOL

While I’m not usually a fan of head-to-toe metallic, I think this looks good on her. I like her hair and makeup too.

She does not have the oomph for this, looks like a deer in the headlights!

She looked beautiful, i especially loved the hair and make up, but i agree that the dress was a little Jane Fonda like.

She has neither the body nor the mature sex appeal to sell it. The gown is clearly not for her.

      So true.

Agree with the comments below (for a remarkable change ?), beautiful dress, particularly for a designer more prone to make fun party dresses, but far too aging on such a young actress.

I kept thinking that this would look amazing on Meryl… and then I remembered why. ⬇️

This is really fresh from the brand. Love it. Over the sequinned column gowns.

I know she is 25 but she looks like a little kid wearing her mother’s dress in this look.

I don’t mind this for her, but can you IMAGINE if Dame Helen Mirren wore this.
She looks younger than Millie, even though she’s 10 years older…

The dress is truly gorgeous and she looks wonderful but yes, its an ageing look.
I would of loved to see this on someone more ‘mature’.
The necklace is completely unnecessary and takes the look down a touch.

Helen Mirren would have killed in this dress!
