Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Wore Alexander McQueen & Zara For Her Bradford Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to City Hall in Bradford’s Centenary Square on Wednesday (January 15) in Bradford, England.

It’s the first time we’ve seen her in 2020, after she ended 2019 with several formal Alexander McQueen looks here and here. And, she opted for another look from the designer in this coat that had a certain military appeal.

However, I love how the silhouette felt impeccably feminine with her brunette waves along with the polished Aspinal handbag, Zeene earrings, and the Gianvito Rossi pumps (which shouldn’t surprise any of us).

No, this was not a quick change, as the Duchess continued to make her rounds in Bradford.

She had on this Zara plaid, pleated dress underneath the Alexander McQueen coat.

So, all of her same accessories remained.

It was conservative and right within her wheelhouse, but I really like how she merged high-fashion with high-street in this more accessible dress.

Love the dress more than the coat. And she looks so pretty!

I like both the outfits here. It’s her signature style, and she knows how to do it neat & polish. About Alexander McQueen, I don’t think it’s the best fashion house for her when going to princess dresses except for formal.

Just picturing what the press’ reaction would be to Catherine wearing Yara’s Moncler Richard Quinn coat.

Chic, polished and so well poised as always. Her coat is to die for.

This coat is so amazing, in a very subtle, not flashy way. Love it. Not huge fan of her shoes, bit old-lady-like here, but nonetheless good look.

The shoes look good with the coat but with the dress, they make it feel a bit staid.

The Queen dresses more youthfully than her, great tailoring, but where’s the personality?

Nothing different than usual, but she looks lovely. I really love the coat.

I usually never like those very snug coats and dresses on her but I really like this coat for its proportions. Nothing too snug, well tailored, prim and not too sharp. Same with the dress, flowy proportions with such a prim looking plaid fabric. Love it. And perhaps like Meghan’s last outing, the smiles’ are making a huge difference for me here. Makes them both look even more youthful. Far or close, stay happy and in love fam lol

I love the McQueen coat, the Zara dress is something my grandma would wear.

I kinda like the dress, but these coats again… I have the impression that I see the same coats over and over again… No for me…

She looks good. Nothing new but nice, polished and event appropriate.

However, this is not her first outing in 2020. I was surprised that you didn’t cover her attending Sunday service on 5 January.

The first look is nice. Kate is so thin the size 0 clothes hang off her.

I am in love with the coat ? I really want it in my closet!
(to be honest, I want most of her coats in my closet… I mean, I am still lusting over the Catherine Walker coat she wore on Remembrance Weekend)

    anonymous as always
