Mandy Moore In Elie Saab – 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards

Mandy Moore entered the red carpet for this new decade at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards, which took place at the Barker Hangar on Sunday (January 12) in Santa Monica, California.

The last few years have been an exploratory one for Mandy fashion wise, so I wasn’t at all surprised to see her present “something new” at this event.

Usually an event of this magnitude would see Mandy don a pretty floral gown, or pick from her go-to designers, so I was delighted to see her wearing a look from Elie Saab’s Resort 2020 collection.

Did this black strapless jumpsuit accented with a chain trim really need the matching capelet?

Yes.  I love the drama it brings to the look in lieu of a train.

Plus, I’m not entirely convinced because of the square fit, that the jumpsuit would’ve worked so well on its own.
