7. Fan Bingbing In Dragon Robe by Laurence Hsu – ‘Robin Hood’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere 2010

Until this moment, many of us outside of Asia had never heard of Fan Bingbing.

The actress captivated us by wearing a dragon robe gown by Laurence Hsu that became so iconic, the moment was recreated by Madame Tussauds.

It was a beautiful way to introduce herself, and her culture; plus it kick started a long run that saw her steal the spotlight at Cannes Film Festival opening ceremonies.

I’m hoping to see her return to Cannes in 2020, where no doubt she will blow us away again.
