Model Of The Year – Adut Akech

2019 was the year of Adut Akech, who you have named as your Model of the Year.

While she hasn’t been as prevalent on the red carpet as some of the other models, her elegance, beauty and long legs have left a lasting impression.

Still a teenager (she turns 20 on December 25), the 19-year-old South Sudanese-Australian model made history as the first model to appear on the cover of five different September editions of Vogue.

She appeared on TIME Magazine’s 2019 ‘100 Next’ list, and she’s also the face of ‘Born in Roma,’ Valentino’s latest fragrance. 

All of her major red carpet moments in 2019 were in Valentino Haute Couture, and I’m sure more is to come in 2020. 

Personally love to see her branch out with new styles and designers.
