There was only one place to start my coverage of The Fashion Awards 2019 this evening (December 2), which took place in London, and that was with Rihanna.
The singer-designer-makeup mogul-entrepreneur is always one to make an impact on the red carpet.
Whether it’s good or bad, that is up to you to decide.
Rihanna’s Fenty, label was honoured by the British Fashion Council with the Urban Luxe Award, a category that included Alyx, Marine Serre, Martine Rose and Moncler Genius.
So there was no way that Rihanna could grace this event without wearing one of her own designs.
And that she did, donning at mint-green head-to-toe Fenty look which thanks to the creases, confirmed this was indeed a Fenty design.
I neither love or dislike the outfit. It’s a pretty colour, but the fit of the dress seems a little off.
I know just about everyone will hail this look because it is Rihanna, but what I’m buying from this look is Rihanna herself.
She is stunning. I adore the braids, the makeup and just how fierce she is.
Harry Kotlar Arabesque diamond studs and a collection of other jewels completed her look.
