Lupita Nyong’o joined Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Thomasin McKenzie on the red carpet for the 2019 British Academy Britannia Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday (October 25) in California.

While this doesn’t follow the usual playbook by Lupita, I’m totally in love with how this Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2019 Haute Couture look pairs a simple turtleneck with a delicate embellished pleated skirt.

We all know that you can’t really go wrong with an embellished skirt, but the turtleneck sets the foundation of elegance in which this look was able to shine.

Chopard jewels and Alexandre Birman sandals completed her look.
