Thomasin McKenzie’s Graceful Femininity In Brock Collection For The 2019 British Academy Britannia Awards

Thomasin McKenzie In Brock Collection - 2019 British Academy Britannia Awards

Thomasin McKenzie joined Phoebe Waller-Bridge at the 2019 British Academy Britannia Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday (October 25) in Beverly Hills, California.

Following a bold outing in Dior for The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Academy screening of ‘JoJo Rabbit,’ the actress was back to taking a more romantic approach in this floor-sweeping dress from Brock Collection.

Imbued with the brands signature sultry corset-inspired bodice finished with puff sleeves, the look exudes graceful femininity that I’m swiftly associating with Thomasin’s red carpet style.

Teased tresses, dewy makeup, Jennifer Meyer jewels and simple Louboutin silver sandals help capture the label’s poetic charm.

Disappointed by this. Bad color for her and her hair is so blah here.

So pretty. So what if it looks costumey. Can’t women be girly? I think it’s a bad angle, I’m sure in person it’s much better.

Jane Austen gone wrong. Looks so insipid and the hair doesn’t help.

She looks like she stepped out of a Vermeer painting.

So unflattering!! Looks like she belongs in a Jane Austen novel and not in a good way!!!

I’ve never been a fan of Brock Collection — I think all of their pieces look like period costumes, and not in a deliberate, tongue-in-cheek way.

At first glance I thought the logoes behind her were weird shoulder attachments. She doesn’t look bad but I think someone a bit older would have sold the dress to me more.
