Gabrielle Chanel Essence Dinner Hosted by Margot Robbie
Chanel hosted a dinner to celebrate the launch of the ‘Gabrielle Chanel Essence’ with Margot Robbie on Thursday (September 11) at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
Margot Robbie: The hostess who is a Chanel ambassador and face of Gabrielle Chanel Essence, wore a look from Chanel’s Fall 2019 Haute Couture collection. The look is “more than meets the eye.” The ivory asymmetric silk ruffled top was accented with both a belted and sequins, while the wide-leg black satin pants featured a feathered hem. I know some of you favour Margot in simple, timeless pieces, so how does this look fare?  I personally love the edgy/classic mix.   I can see Charlize Theron wearing this too.
Charlie Heaton: This has to be the most classic Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello style of suit, and no one works it better than Charlie Heaton.
Sylvia Hoeks: The actress has a very powerful style, and she’s not afraid to take risks, so you might be surprised by the simplicity of her Chanel white cotton peplum dress. I don’t mind the dress, but I do wish the styling had been a bit stronger.
Haim:Â Usually there is a lot more co-ordination either style or colour wise when it comes to the Haim sisters, but in this instance, despite them all wearing Chanel, we got three totally different looks. Â
Alana Haim: This Chanel Resort 2019 look is probably the one I would love to wear sans shoes. Had it not been for the shorts, this may have translated a little ‘old-lady-ish’ due to the fluffy nature of the cardigan.
Este Haim:Â I do adore the colour of this green tweed Chanel Fall 2019 look, but the jacket feels a little bulky.
Danielle Haim: The same applies here. I wish to have seen this Chanel Fall 2019 look without the magenta jacket.
Elizabeth Hammer: I was swooning over this Chanel Pre-Fall 2019 look for this rich gold tones and cosy sweater.
Camila Morrone: Â The model continues to shun the model “uniform” to present a understate aesthetic in Chanel’s Fall 2019 look. Did this read a little too old-lady-ish to you? Or classic?
Kristine Froseth: The Chanel ambassador wore a Chanel Resort 2020 printed muslin dress which we’ve seen in a few different guises. The sweet nature of the dress, and fluttery layers were perfectly suited to her style along with her bow accented Chanel sandals.
Pom Klementieff:Â I was starting to think that Pom had lost her edge, but this outing in Chanel’s Fall 2019 and Resort 2020 collection, sees her back on track.
