Christina Aguilera Takes Haute Couture Fashion Week By Storm
Christina Aguilera has never been the shy and retiring type when it comes to fashion (remember those chaps?), and her most recent outfits during Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week definitely made a statement.
The singer-songwriter rocked an oversized gown to the Viktor & Rolf show with the slogan ‘F* this I’m going to Paris’ emblazoned on the front.
I’m not sure what I’m loving most about this outfit, the bold multi-coloured statement or the sheer proportions of the gown which the petite star doesn’t get lost in.
Regardless, this dress ensured Christina wouldn’t go unnoticed as she sat in the FROW, and basically took up about two seats worth of space with the layers of skirt overlapping other guests’ laps.
Everyone knows a diva needs a costume change mid-way through the day, and the Victor & Rolf gown wasn’t her only outfit of the day.
Christina also attended the Jean Paul Gaultier show on the same day, for which she wore a floor length silk kimono with a flowing train, paired with patent leather thigh-high boots and a waist cincher.
She accessorized the look with a knuckle dusters on each hand that when held next to each other read ‘Gaultier’.
Yes, the cincher and the boots take this into OTT territory, but like Mariah Carey, I will give Christina a diva pass.
