Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Recycles Her Alessandra Rich Polka Dot Dress for Her Bletchley Park Visit
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was undertaking a solo engagement today (May 14), to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landing at Normandy in Bletchley, England.
Looking as lovely as ever on a gloriously sunny day, the Duchess opted to wear an Alessandra Rich Spring 2018 navy polka-dot dress.
She previously wore the frock in family photos released in honor of Prince Charles’s 70th birthday.
On this occasion we got a good look at the shoes, which frankly didn’t live up to the dress, but the navy clutch did.
I had hoped this second outing would see her opt for a belt, as worn by Abigal Spencer, Sarah Jessica Parker and the model, because I without it, her torso looks abnormally long with the drop-waist nature of the pleated skirt.
Despite the recycling, this feels fresh. Plus it showcases Catherine’s love for polka dots.
