Serena Williams In Atelier Versace – 2019 Met Gala
As one of the hosts this evening, Serena Williams was another early arrival at the 2019 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 6) in New York.
There was no missing the tennis champion in her exuberant neon yellow Atelier Versace gown bedecked with pink leaf appliqués.
Off White x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Volt’ sneakers were a surprising finishing point to the dramatic confection. But, the shoes were a clever choice for nodding to her sporting background and for uniquely playing into the ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ theme.
Could this be the start of a new red carpet trend?
