Kathryn Newton’s Puffy Pink Gown For The ‘Pokeman Detective Pikachu’ New York Premiere

Kathryn Newton joined Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on the red carpet for the ‘Pokemon Detective Pikachu’  New York premiere on Thursday (May 2).

I loved her Valentino look for the Tokyo premiere, but this. 

This is a bit of a mess.

I was going to say this Ralph & Russo Fall 2018 Couture pale-pink gown is a mess from the waist down, but the top half isn’t filling me with much joy either.

Silk taffeta isn’t easy to pull off, but ruched silk taffeta is even worse.

I got totally lost around the section between the waist down to the front of the weird additional portion.

Why?  Just why?

Had that part been more seamless, perhaps it would’ve worked.
