Chadwick Boseman In Atelier Versace – 2019 NAACP Image Awards

The King of Wakanda, Chadwick Boseman took home the award for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture ‘Black Panther’ at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (March 30) in Hollywood, California.

While you may recognise this distinctive printed brown jacket with pops of black and turquoise from Versace’s Pre-Fall 2019 show, Chadwick’s look was a custom-made, Atelier Versace look.

I think he could’ve also made the runway trousers work.  What do you think? 

Too much? Or do you believe he had enough swag to rock it?

A custom-made brown silk shirt and brown satin trousers perfectly executed his look.

I’m curious what tan shoes would’ve looked like.  Perhaps it didn’t work which is why black Versace textured derby shoes were chosen.
