‘Project Runway’ New York Premiere

'Project Runway' New York Premiere

The ‘Project Runway’ New York premiere on Thursday (March 7) had an unofficial dress code of black, with a few notable exceptions.

Morena Baccarin: It’s intriguing that the ‘Gotham’ actress brought out a Givenchy Fall 2014 ensemble from the archives when there are countless sheer-skirted options from more recent seasons.

Karlie Kloss: The new host supported one of the new judges in a refined Brandon Maxwell Fall 2019 look that showcased her classic style.

Elaine Welteroth: Also in Brandon Maxwell Fall 2019, she brought some colour to the carpet in this slinky lime style.

Coco Rocha: Another one to buck the blackout dress code, the model shimmered in a Christian Siriano Resort 2019 suit which had a fanciful unicorn-meets-Ziggy-Stardust sentiment.

Nina Garcia: The ‘Project Runway’ mainstay kept things classic in black suiting with minimal accessorising. Like Coco, her trousers covered the shoes.
