Emma Watson In ALEXACHUNG – G7 Equality Meeting

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emma Watson In ALEXACHUNG - G7 Equality Meeting

Emma Watson attended the first G7 Advisory Council For Gender Equality in Paris on Tuesday (February 19).

The actress meant business in her ALEXACHUNG Spring 2019 jacquard floral print suit that channel the label’s British cool-girl sensibilities.

I love the message that this look sends out, which is; business power suits can be modern and chic.

This was displayed also by her styling of yellow sandals and a Lala Léxa Perspex clutch.

I can’t wait for this trend of wearing sandals with everything regardless of season to go away. I find it ridiculous. Perhaps it’s aesthetically pleasing, but none in their right mind would were it in temperatures below 15.

I seem to be in the minority, but I like this on Emma.

It’s not my favourite suit but it’s a little fun twist on suiting. I like the yellow sandals but not the clutch.

I don’t like this at all. ugly outfit and it ages her. It makes her proportions look all off too.

I’ve got to say her friend/colleague is more intriguing than Emma here. I want to know more about that radiant being.

As far as Emma goes the print is cute. We all love a pop of colour, but pumps would have been preferred. And the clutch needed to be more substantial.

Totally agree about the friend/colleague, wonderful weather appropriated combination.

I agree with Ruth that Alexa Chung is not a designer. I am not quite sure how she got to be a fashion it girl (also Olivia Palermo). This suit is nothing special but it’s not bad despite the pajamesque print. That being said, I am not feeling the yellow sandals with this suit in February in Paris. The clutch is great but is not a daytime, “I’m here for an important and serious meeting” bag.

It looks a size too big.

The print is cute but this is ill-fitting. The coat is too big and cuts her off at an unflattering point. The pants are too baggy.

Love this suit, the pop of yellow was a good choice.

Meh. Alexa Chung is not a designer. I said what I said.

And I agree with what you said!

      Me too!
