Elizabeth Debicki In Armani Prive – 2019 BAFTAs

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Elizabeth Debicki In Armani Prive - 2019 BAFTAs

It was all about the details with Elizabeth Debicki at the 2019 BAFTAs this evening (February 10) in London, England.

She showed off her statuesque frame in an Armani Prive Fall 2018 gown which was decorated with a curving striped frill.

The contrasting detail transforms the classic shape and brings a sculptural quality to the piece.

Critics might find it looks a little too “stuck on.” The hair might also kill it for some.

Chopard jewels and Christian Louboutin ‘Decoltish’ pumps completed her look.

Am I the only one that prefers the runway look over the modifications. Or maybe it’;s just the hair that is throwing me off

She is statuesque. Regal. But the hair os awful.

I mean what IS the hair. It’s like her hair stylist got halfway through tonging it in order to do some kind of updo but then had to run off an handle a bleach emergency for one of the junior girls and Elizabeth here just didn’t get finished up

I would have loved to have seen this dress from a different angle, but it does look better on her than on the model. The hair does look a little dated.

Alas, as with Nicole Kidman at the Critics choice awards, bad hair let’s down a chic Armani Prive gown.

The hair certainly kills this for me. But she looks good.

I’m getting major Princess Di vibes.

The hair would’ve been great if it had been neater. As is it’s sloppy, but it had the potential to be really cute / 60s style. Shame as she’s usually flawless

The dress does look better on her than the runway but its still kind of dull for this event.
Another lesser outing I would love this though.
Although, her hair is a mess.

You’re right Catherine, the hair totally kills this for me. She is usually so pulled together from head to toe, but the hair looks terrible.

The hair seems messy but the dress looks better on her than on the runway. Super elegant.

I’m so sad because the hair is such a let down, other than that this is fabulous, I like the modifications.

That hairstyle is super aging. The whole look is a yawn.
