Claire Foy looked regal at the 2019 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 10). She is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for ‘First Man.’
After a few black looks she returned to colour with this deep forest green Oscar de la Renta Spring 2019 gown.
The folded sash detail and slit are made to move. In a static pose some of their splendor has been lost.
Jimmy Choo ‘Shiloh’ sandals completed her look.

I don’t like the dress, but her hairstyle made it worse.
Shame it is not a better look for her. I liked the black Dior she wore last week. She looked softer and prettier. This is so ordinary and forgettable.
I want to like this, loving the idea of a theatre curtain, but she’s just not selling it really.
I like the elegant simplicity of the dress, but it’s the hair and makeup that let this look down for me.
Probably one of the most underwhelming of the evening.

It looks like she wrapped a pashmina around her. I hate that word but the design is too basic.
It’s a nice look but not wow. I’m think I’m comparing it against Julianne Moore in YSL in 2003 OSCARS.
The whole look seems unfinished.

Sorry, it looks like a curtain. This red carpet was very underwhelming.

Boring, underwhelming and everything in between. One of her worst looks so far.
