Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture – Investitures Ceremony

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture - Investitures Ceremony

Back in June, Keira Knightley was named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours, and will receive her an OBE for her services to drama and charity today (December 13) at the Investitures ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London.

The royal honour comes more than 15 years after the twice Oscar-nominated film star scored her breakthrough role as a football-loving teenager in ‘Bend It Like Beckham.’

Since then, she has gone on to star in several blockbuster films, and alongside Vanessa Paradis, she is the most recognisable face for Chanel.

So it wasn’t a surprise to see her wearing a look from the Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection.

The classic boucle suit, was a fine choice for the palace, but I love how Keira brought a touch of cheeky British charm to the look with the matching hat.

I’m not a huge fan of the Chloe Gosselin shoes, but from the ankles up this was the perfect look for a sunny Thursday morning in the capital.

Endlessly chic.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Chanel Haute Couture at the palace. You may remember that Dame Anna Wintour also received her honour wearing a look from this same collection.
