Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham – Diplomatic Corps Reception

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham - Diplomatic Corps Reception

The royal family welcomed guests to the annual white tie Diplomatic Corps reception at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (December 4).

Yesterday I said that methinks that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has a new stylist, and this latest gown from Jenny Packham all but confirms it.

Could this be a more perfect princess moment?

I don’t think I have been this flushed with excitement for Catherine’s style since her 2011 Jenny Packham dress worn to the ARK gala.

How can I explain this?

This is the most princessy princess dress the Duchess has worn. With feeling overwrought, and you know, too princessy. Grown up. Fit for a Queen. It makes sense in my mind.

There is just the right smattering of embellishments, the House of Garrard ‘Lovers Knot’ tiara of course enhances the regal air, and the accessories which included the yellow Royal Family Order, silver box clutch and earrings rounded things of perfectly.

This is infinitely better than the Alexander McQueen gown she wore back in October. Hopefully Jenny Packham will be her go-to designer for these events in the future.

Which of Catherine’s three looks would you want up for BDOTW? Or is that a silly question?
