Naomi Campbell And Matt Smith Celebrate 'Close Your Eyes And Think Of Christmas'

To celebrate Burberry’s new holiday campaign and the beginning of the festive season, campaign stars Matt Smith and Naomi Campbell hosted an event at the fashion house’s 57th Street store in New York on Monday (November 19), prior to the release of Burberry’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection.

Lily James: The actress is no stranger to Burberry. Some of her finest red carpet moments have come from the British brand – ‘Darkest Hour’ London premiere, ‘Baby Driver’ London premiere and the 2017 Met Gala spring to mind. But on this occasion she kept things simple in a Burberry suit.

Matt Smith: The man of the hour was always going to scrub up well, and that he did in this grey notched lapel suit. At first I was thrown by the lack of tie, but on closer inspection, the tie is the same colour as his shirt.

Naomi Campbell: I was really disappointed by this trompe l’oeil Burberry dress. I get the boudoir vibe the look was going for, but if someone of Naomi’s caliber can’t sell it to me, it should’ve stayed on the rack.

Maria Borges: The model never disappoints. This time she wore an embellished Roberto Cavalli outfit which highlighted just one of her many great features: her legs.

Misty Copeland: Just one word will sum up this look. Ill-fitting. Actually, that’s two.

Carolyn Murphy: The model was showcasing the laidback chic appeal of the Burberry Spring 2019 collection designed by Riccardo Tisci.
