Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Givenchy – Rainbow Springs Visit

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Givenchy - Rainbow Springs Visit

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s first official tour finished off in the same effortless style she began with.

I can’t say I was blown away by the majority of the looks, but there was a sense of simple elegance displayed throughout the 16 days Down Under, with one or two exceptions.

For her final walkabout, she wore a Givenchy crew neck blouse and a pleated skirt with gradient effect from the Spring 2018 collection.

Much has been made about the sheerness of the skirt, which I don’t have any problem with as I don’t feel this was deliberate in any way, but I’m sure the majority will say this was perhaps not the right look a Duchess should be presenting.

Once again I put this down to her team, the same group of people who let her leave an aircraft with a tag on her skirt.

I hope she has learnt a lot from this tour, and gets a new glam squad in time for her US tour next year.

The royal couple were rumoured to be planning a tour of US cities including New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C in Spring 2019, but it has been reported that this could now be moved to the Fall of 2019 to give Harry and Meghan a little extra time to adjust to being parents.
