Front Row @ Armani Prive Spring 2018

The Armani Prive Spring 2018 show was held on Tuesday (January 23) during Paris Fashion Week.

Sara Sampaio: The model easily had my favourite look of the front row with this powdery pink jumpsuit that I loved not only for its romantic hue that was so striking with Sara’s jet-black locks, but also for the beautiful drape of its silhouette with the cape-style sleeves. The bold accessories, including metallic pumps and a printed clutch, contributed such a modern edge, too.

Diane Kruger: A distinct ode to old Hollywood elegance was most captivating about this look, with the sheer paneling offering a modern seduction to the embroidered dress.

Juana Acosta: I think these cropped, micro-print separates are one of the most structured and polished takes on pyjama-inspired dressing that we’ve seen. I like the silver pumps here, too, with this relaxed-refined, suited-up look that fit Juana beautifully.

Marion Cotillard: You could easily call Marion’s denim jeans and leather blazer a rather standard off-duty entrance—that is, until the quirky white ear cuff comes barreling into view. I didn’t quite understand this avant-garde addition, or her braided crown of hair with this look.

Sara looks sleek and elegant. Diane’s dress would be great without the sheer panels. The other two aren’t my cup of tea.

Sara looks lovely. That powdery pink and her dark hair look delicious.
    Diane is gorgeous as always.

In a world where women go to fashion shows dressed for a red carpet, Marion Cotillard is a breath of fresh air.

May I ask if Marion was at dior? Or has her endorsement with dior ended?

    • Catherine Kallon January 26, 2018 at 6:03 pm #

She is no longer a Dior ambassador and she didn’t go to the show.

Sarah looks great. I don’t like Diane’s dress. She does look regal neck up, but the dress itself is not great. The sheer black parts and the black half sash don’t look good and the dress is very unflattering through the torso. Marion looks like she going to a PTA meeting. I like it sans ear cuff for running around town. I am not feeling the shiny tailored pjs.

Sara looks beautiful. Love the styling.

The other two look like they are at a completely different event.

Diane looks positively regal. Marion looks like she’s going shopping. Don’t like the other two at all.
