Brit Marling In Sies Marjan – Netflix’s ‘The OA’ FYC Event

Posted by Rachel Watkins

Brit Marling was at Netflix’s ‘The OA’ FYC Event in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday (June 10).

While I found much to appreciate about the graceful romance of her last Sies Marjan Fall 2017 look, that affection quickly dissipated in this ensemble from the same collection.

Half-tucking the electric-blue silk dress into her cuffed denim jeans may have been appealing to her particular style-forward sensibility. But, it just looked as if she was half-dressed with a creased bedroom robe still on atop her pants.

The green Sies Marjan shoes were another acquired taste, which I’m afraid only added insult to injury for this haphazard statement.

Marion Cotillard did this well in Cannes. I guess you need much more than the concept to make it work.

I was scrolling and coming upon this post I literally exclaimed ‘What the hell is THAT?!’
Her last look was unusual, but she made it work.
This is a crime against fashion and if there was an actual fashion-police she would not be allowed back on the rc for some time so she can think about what she did.

this is a mess on it’s own and a travesty with the jeans. Awful.

I said it before and I’ll say it again: I am not fashio forward enough to appreciate Brit Marling’s looks. This one is just silly.

I’m all for fresh looks on the red carpet, especially lately but this is atrocious.
