Carrie Underwood lit up the 2017 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday (June 7) in Nashville.

The effervescent country singer donned an eye-catching Elie Madi dress, and I love it. From the fun fringe details on the mini skirt to the long-sleeved top embellished with crystals, this was the perfect princess moment.

I do wish something more stylish and sleek could have been done with the hair-styling, and the Kimberly McDonald jewelry could have been pared back.

The Atelier Swarovski ‘Marina’ clutch, however, is a fabulously flamboyant addition.
